Ruger publicly admires Wizkid's loyal fanbase, seeks to inherit it
Nigerian singer Michael Adebayo Olayinka better known as Ruger has openly expressed admiration for Wizkid's dedicated fanbase, known as FC, on social media.
Ruger took to X to praise Wizkid's impressive chart numbers, crediting his loyal fanbase. He jokingly asked Wizkid to include him in his "music will," requesting to inherit the FC fanbase if Wizkid retires and his son, Zion, doesn't pursue music.
The tweet read: "@wizkidayo if you ever decide to not do music again, and Zion no wan do music Sef, pls write my name RUGER as the person to inherit your fanbase in your music will."
Soon after, Ruger shared another tweet, revealing that Wizkid's fans have begun supporting his music. His collaboration with Tiwa Savage climbed to number 13 on Apple Music charts.
"Omo see as FC Dey do 1 kese, 1 toma toma we Dey number 13 now for Apple Music," Ruger wrote, acknowledging FC's impact.
