Chelsea confirms the signing of Estevao Willian

Chelsea Football Club have announced the signing of teenage forward Estevao Willian from Palmeiras, with the Brazilian set to join the Blues next summer.

Chelsea made the official announcement on its website on Saturday, June 21, 2024. Esteavo Willian is one of the most exciting youngsters who is lighting up the Brazilian league with his fantastic footwork.

The young player signed a nine-year deal with the Blues which will keep him at the club at least until 2033. According to reports, Chelsea paid a fixed amount of €34 million to Palmeiras, and €6m add-ons based on appearances.

The deal also includes €17m add-ons based on being a multiseason starter at Chelsea and an additional €4m difficult add-ons.

Estevao has featured 10 times in the Brazilian Serie A for Palmeiras, contributing two goals and two assists, as well as also finding the net in the Copa Libertadores and Copa do Brazil. The exciting forward will join fellow Brazilians Andrey Santos, Deivid Washington and Angelo Gabriel at Stamford Bridge
