Simi responds to Brymo, Samklef’s flirtatious remarks about her

Nigerian songstress, Simi has finally addressed the recent flirtatious comments made by her colleagues Brymo and producer, Samklef, dismissing their remarks as mere comedy.

The saga began when Brymo stirred controversy last year by suggesting he desired a sexual encounter with Simi in exchange for a music collaboration. Claiming she turned down his proposition, Brymo purportedly refused to collaborate with her. Similarly, Samklef confessed his affection for Simi during their struggling artist days but refrained from making advances to avoid mixing business with pleasure.

In a recent interview on Angela Yee's show Way Up on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, Simi expressed bewilderment over the statements made by Brymo and Samklef. Dismissing their remarks, she emphasized the lack of substance in their comments and questioned why they continued to talk about her in such a manner.

Simi further stated that the opinions of Brymo and Samklef did not affect her, highlighting that her husband, who stands by her, addresses any concerns on her behalf. She regarded the entire situation as more comedic than anything else, asserting her indifference to the matter.
