Man United confirm the injury of player ahead of next premier league fixture

In an official statement, Man United confirmed the injury of a key player in the squad ahead of the upcoming premier league fixtures.

The Red Devils Man United would be without an instrumental midfielder in their next set of premier league fixtures as the club has confirmed that the player had picked up a knock while on international duty for his country.

The club confirmed that Casemiro is out injured following the knock he picked in Brazil's 1-1 draw with Venezuela this week. Brazil's head coach Fernandeo Diniz confirmed the knock in his press conference. The midfielder was subbed off in the 78th minute of the World Cup qualifier, which was played at Arena Pantanal in Cuiaba.

Fernandeo Diniz, in the post-match press conference, revealed, “As there was a stop (in play), I decided to make the three substitutions; we had a lot of control when they came on. Casemiro asked to come off due to a blow to his ankle.”
