Teni reveals her upcoming album is her most vulnerable album

Teni reveals the inspiration behind her upcoming album and the expected release date, as well as things to expect in the upcoming album.

Teniola Apata, popularly known as Teni or Teni the entertainer, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and entertainer who is representing the female category of the music entertainment sector and the entertainment sector at large in an applaudable manner, sitting at the top as one of the queens of Afrobeats.

Teni Makanaki, as she's popularly called, is known for her ever-vibrant and vivacious stage control during concerts and performances with hit singles like Fargin, Wait, Uyo Mayo, and Case amongst others, which topped charts and also earned her recognisable awards, stamping her alias Makanaki as an authentic one.

The Case and Fargin crooner, in an interview on the Tea with Tay podcast, revealed that she is currently working on her second studio album, which is set to be released in October 2023. Talking about the album, Teni said, "...this album is my most vulnerable album..."

When asked about the inspiration behind the upcoming album she revealed "pain, growth, love."
