Osimhen and Ighalo call out NFF over Super Falcons bonus
The tussle between the Nigeria Football Federation and the Super Falcons over unpaid bonuses has continued to be a topic of conversation in the last few days.
The body protecting the interests of professional footballers, FIFPRO wrote an open letter on its official website stating its interest in the situation. According to the body, they will do everything in their capacity to ensure the Falcons get their bonus, which dates back to 2021.
Super Eagles forward player, Victor Osimhen also called out the NFF, asking them to pay the ladies whatever they are being owed. Former Nigeria forward player, Odion Ighalo also joined his voice to advocate for the girls to get their money.
The duo commented on Asisat Oshoala's Instagram post where she shared the statement from FIFPRO respectively with the caption "Pay them @nffofficial, "NFF will never stop these things"

However, the NFF has responded to FIFPRO, according to them, they have no problem with the players because both parties have an understanding and they will get their 2023 World Cup bonuses without any delay.
