Davido Speaks On The Pain Of Losing Late Son
The award-winning singer still sheds tears every morning after the tragic incident that happened in late 2022.
Nigerian ace singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has opened up about the pain attached to losing his only son and how he has had to deal with it.
The DWM frontline act, who was away from the public eye for several months after the tragic loss of his three-year-old son, Ifeanyi, in a pool accident, miraculously made a comeback with what is widely regarded as his best album yet.
In a recent podcast interview with Million Dollaz Worth of Game, the Afrobeats superstar spoke about the sadness that has overwhelmed him each day he spends on earth since Ifeanyi's passing. According to David, he has cried every morning since the incident. He said:
I miss him every day, tears roll down my cheeks each morning, even though you can't see it.

Speaking further, Davido revealed that despite the traffic incident, he still had to rise above it and find peace in his craft. According to the singer, he knows that he has to be strong for his son, wife, family, and the whole world in general. He said:
My son is watching over me. Besides supporting his mom, my primary duty, I must also be a source of strength for the world.
