Erling Haaland Becomes the First Player to Achieve this Feat in Premier League History
Manchester City's forward player, Erling Haaland has continued to break every record available since he moved to the Premier League.
The Norwegian took his record-breaking moment to another level when he scored the third goal for Manchester City against Bayern Munich in the first leg of the Quater-final clash. He took his goal tally in all competitions to 45 making him the first player in the history of the competition to score that number of goals in a season. Haaland has now scored 34 goals in 26 games in the Champions League.
Manchester City also wrote their name in the history books of the UEFA Champions League with the win against Bayern Munich. The Cityzens are now unbeaten in 25 home games in the competition's history (W23 D2). This is an outright record for an English club. Their goal difference over this period is +62 (F81, A19).
The Supporters of Manchester City will hope that these numbers can land them their first UCL title.
