Mikel Arteta Reacts to the Challenge from Pep Guardiola in the Premier League

The manager of Arsenal Football Club, Mikel Arteta has spoken about the challenge he is getting from Pep Guardiola in the league for the first time.

Arteta was speaking in an interview where he was asked about the challenge from Manchester City in the Premier League.

He said;

I always hope that was going to be the case one day and it is happening this season. It is not going to change anything, the companionship that we have, how he is important to my life and profession. We are both willing to win and defend our club in the best possible way.

The Gunners lead the Premier League table with 50 points, ahead of Manchester City with five points. However, most football fans believe that Arsenal will drop points when they face the citizens in both legs.

Arsenal last won the Premier League during the 2003/04 season when Arsene Wenger was the manager of the club.
