Ycee Fires Back At Wizkid Over Recent Comment On Rap Music
The elite rapper, just like several hip-hop heads, has reacted to Wizkid's opinion about rap music.
Oludemilade Martin Alejo, popularly known as Ycee, a Nigerian ace rapper, singer, and songwriter, has slammed Afrobeats Superstar Wizkid for his recent comment on Rap music.
In his latest interview with a British magazine, Wizkid made it known that he doesn't listen to rap anymore because he believes the genre is boring and dead, a statement that has gotten a lot of reactions, including from Nigerian rappers like M.I., Blaqbonez, Ladipoe, Oladips, and others.
Following the reaction from the Nigerian hip-hop community, Wizkid also took to his Snapchat on Saturday, December 3rd, 2022, to broke-shame Nigerian rappers as well as call them "dumb f**ks." in a series of posts.
As the brouhaha intensifies, YCee also didn't hold back as he took to Twitter to fire back at Wizkid. According to the rapper, the singer's comment about Nigerian rappers does not make sense. Ycee also went on to highlight the influence of rappers in blowing up songs by other popstars, including Kizz Daniel, Mayorkun. He wrote:
