Chelsea FC Set to Submit a New Bid for Wesley Fofana

Chelsea Football Club are reportedly set to submit another bid to Leicester City for the signing of its defender, Wesley Fofana.

The Blues had seen their first three bids rejected by the foxes, the latest bid from the Stamford Bridge club was £70 million. A transfer news expert, Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Chelse will submit a bid of £75 million for the player.

The 21-year-old was left out of the foxes' squad ahead of the club's league game against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, August 27th, 2022. The manager of Leicester City, Brendan Rodgers had initially confirmed that the club will sell the defender for the right price which is placed at £80 million.

Chelsea are looking to sign at least one more center back in addition to Kalidou Koulibaly who was signed from the Serie A side, Napoli.
