Oluwafemi Benson Giwa, popularly known as “Brite Benson” aka LOCALBOY, is a US-based Nigerian singer, songwriter, performer, and actor. His voice is unique, so is music which is reflective of his choice of apparel. With his core sound in Afrobeat, hip-hop, the fast-rising Nigerian superstar is able to infuse African elements and slangs into his music. He hasn’t failed to show his diversity with music genres so far as he shifts from the norm of his pulsing and melodic Afropop urban fusion to rap on some projects.
He has made several break-through in the Nigerian music industry with notable hit tracks like: Ose Mama, Slay Mama, Kung Fu Love, One Way which featured Nigerian ace rapper and songwriter CDQ and most recently his chart topping track titled “Shokoyokoto” which features Cameroonian pop superstar Adele Clarice.
