An Overview: Jude Okoye Does Not Think Psquare Will Ever Return

Psquare are a legendary group, no doubt. We all want their return together, but in the heat of the Cynthia Morgan situation (when Jude Okoye went on Tunde Ednut's Live to clear things up), Jude 'Engees' Okoye, the elder brother to the duo, has very strong reservations that will ever happen.

As seen in the accompanying video, Tunde Ednut and Jude Okoye had been talking a while, and the question came out. Many had been asking in the comments. And when Jude said the words he said, everywhere shook, streamers were incredibly shocked.

According to Wikipedia, P-Square were a Nigerian duo of identical twin brothers Peter Okoye and Paul Okoye.^[1] They produced and released their albums through Square Records. In December 2011, they signed a record deal with Akon's Konvict Muzik label.^[2] In May 2012, they signed a record distribution deal with Universal Music's South African branch.^[3] On 25 September 2017, numerous media outlets reported that the group disbanded.^[4] Reports about a breakup surfaced after Peter reportedly sent a termination letter to the group's lawyer.^[4] Prior to this report, the duo disbanded in 2016, supposedly over a disagreement about the role of their manager.^[4]

During Psquare's time together, they made very large strides across Africa and even globally, selling out shows and tours. Among the awards they received were multiple Headies, Nigeria Music Awards, Channel O Music Video Awards, MTV Africa Music Awards, KORA Awards, Lil Perry Productions, BET Awards, MOBO Awards, Ghana Music Awards, MTV Europe Music Awards, Soul Train Music Awards and a whole lot of others.

Yesterday, Notjustok held the second edition of the NotjustokVS, after the first which involved MI Abaga and Naeto C. Last night it was the Mo Hits against Square Records, and it was a great celebration. Listening to the P Square classics, you get why people want them back.
