Arsenal suffer another injury despite Martin Odegaard's return

Arsenal Football Club will be without Declan Rice ahead of their UEFA Champions League clash against Inter Milan on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at the San Siro.

The Gunners decided to leave out Declan Rice from the team that travelled to Italy ahead of the crucial game. The England midfielder has played every minute of Arsenal’s 2024-25 Champions League campaign, and the Premier League, having missed only one game after his sending-off against Brighton earlier in the season.

Declan Rice did not train with the rest of the Arsenal squad on Tuesday morning, despite playing the full 90 minutes in the 1-0 loss to Newcastle United over the weekend.

Mikel Arteta could replace him with either Mikel Merino, Thomas Partey or Jorginho in the midfield. However, the good news is that Martin Odegaard is back with the squad and he is among the travelling party as he returned to full training on the morning of Tuesday, November 5, 2024.
