My ministry actually started in 1994 after graduating from C.A.C Olorunsogo Sunday School and through divine guidance, God led me to join the C.A.C Olorunsogo choir in Mushin, Lagos, Nigeria where I discovered I could sing very well and through a lot of rigorous training, my skills were sharpened in singing Classical music, Contemporary music, Hymns and even Choruses( i.e. Praise and Worship songs both in English and Yoruba), I gradually rose up to become a lead vocalist and Soloist in the same choir and I led C.A.C. Olorunsogo assembly in Praise and Worship for many years.
All those periods, I also sang in the Youth fellowship choir. I lead the youth in Praise and Worship in many Praise night programs. I was also a member of the Praise and Worship team in the same Assembly for many years before traveling to the United States.
On getting to the States, I joined C.A.C 1st Americans' Choir and also became a lead singer. I started enquiring about the Eulogy of God and I realized that God has so many names that we could call Him. My passion is singing the Praises of God, I never get tired of doing this. I mostly get my inspiration whenever I am praying, the Holy Spirit gives me melodies. Just like my name Oluwatoyin (which means God is worthy to be praised) I choose to make praising Jesus a lifestyle, something that I love to do every day.
Oba Ara is a dream come true for me. God gave me this Prophecy in 1995 and today He made it happen for me and forever I'll be grateful to Him. I'm excited to see the work begins, and I know that He that had begun a good work in me will complete it until the day of the Lord Jesus. (Amen).
