The 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, also known as AFCON 2025, marks the 35th edition of the prestigious biennial African football tournament, overseen by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

Set to be hosted by Morocco, this event holds significance as the second time Morocco hosts, with the first occurrence in 1988. The tournament is scheduled for July and August 2025, aligning with the northern hemisphere's summer to alleviate scheduling conflicts with European club teams and competitions. Originally slated for Guinea, hosting rights were transferred to Morocco after Guinea's acknowledgment of hosting inadequacies.

Ivory Coast, the defending champions, adds anticipation to the upcoming football spectacle.
