Xavi Hernandez gives an update on Ousmane Dembele's future at Barcelona

Barcelona supporters might not get to see Ousmane Dembele play for their club again following the player's decision to leave the Camp Nou.

The manager of the club, Xavi Hernandez confirmed that the player has made his decision known to the club. He said, Ousmane Dembele told us he wants to leave and join Paris Saint Germain.

"Ousmane Dembélé told us that he wants to leave and join PSG. We can’t compete, PSG bid is huge and out of the market, he spoke to Luis Enrique and Al Khelaifi. It hurts me because we took care of him to make him happy here. But we can’t compete, he’s leaving."

Dembele was on the verge of leaving Barcelona last season but both sides failed to reach a compromise. He will be remembered by the Catalonia fans for his goal he scored in the pre-season against Real Madrid.
