World Cup qualifier: Rwanda vs Nigeria: team list

Super Eagles head coach, Eric Chelle named his first team list ahead of the crucial World Cup qualifier against Rwanda in Kigali.

The Super Eagles team list was released an hour before the kick off of he game between both sides. Stanley Nwabali started in goal while the back four were Nigerians expected from him ( Ola Aina, Troost-Ekong, Samuel Osayi and Calvin Bassey).

The defenders where shielded by Leicester City's Wilfred Ndidi while the other central midfielders include Alex Iwobi and Samuel Chukwueze. The forwards are lead by Galatasaray's, Victor Osimhen, Moses Simon and Ademola Lookman.

The game against Rwanda is a must-win for the Super Eagles after securing just three points in the first four games. A win will put them on six points ahead of the game against Zimbabwe on Tuesday, March 25, 2025.
