#Wimbledon: Ons Jabeur Sets a New Record in History of Tennis

World number two tennis player, Ons Jabeur wrote her name in the history books of sports following her qualification to the Wimbledon final.

The Tunisian became the first African woman to achieve this feat on Thursday, July 7th, 2022. The 27-year-old became the first woman to reach the final of a Grand Slam in the Open Era.
Jabeur booked her spot in the final of the competition following her victory over Tatjana Maria from Germany. She won the game 6-2,3-6,6-1 to book her first-ever final grand slam.
She expressed her delight concerning her qualification for the final of the Wimbledon.
