Who is Premier League's best player for April 2024?

The Premier League has announced that Cole Palmer, Chelsea's midfielder, has been named the best player for the month of April 2024.

The English international has won the award due to his outstanding performance for Chelsea, scoring seven goals and providing an assist in just four league games. He demonstrated his heroic form when Chelsea defeated Manchester United 4-3 at Stamford Bridge, scoring three goals in that game.

He also scored four times in a 6-0 victory over Everton, becoming the first Chelsea player to score in seven consecutive Premier League home appearances, and the sixth player to achieve a Chelsea hat-trick, which he accomplished within 29 minutes of kick-off.

Cole Palmer is the first Chelsea player to receive this award since Eden Hazard in September 2018.
