The supporters of Arsenal Football Club have been hit with injuries to three of their first-team players ahead of the crucial Premier League clash against Liverpool.

The club confirmed that Bukayo Saka, Jurrien Timber, and Riccardo Calafiori will all be unavailable for the clash against Liverpool. According to Mikel Arteta, Saka is expected to recover from his muscle injury in time, having picked up the issue during England duty this month. Timber has meanwhile not played since the beginning of October 2024.

Arsenal first team defender, William Saliba was sent off against Bournemouth last Saturday, October 19, 2024 while defender Calafiori picked up a knee issue in Tuesday's Champions League clash with Shakhtar Donetsk.

What did Mikel Arteta say about Arsenal's injury situation?

Ben White has recovered from his setback and started the last two matches but Takehiro Tomiyasu remains a doubt while Kieran Tierney is not yet back from his long-term hamstring injury. This means that White, Gabriel Magalhaes, Oleksandr Zinchenko, and Jakub Kiwior as the only defenders guaranteed to be available for Arteta.

However, Arsenal fans will hope that they can find a way to defeat Liverpool as they can't afford to drop points in three consecutive games.
