West Ham United Hit By Injury after Victory Against Chelsea | Read

West Ham United have confirmed that french defender, Kurt Zouma will be out of action for a lengthy period.

The Hammers confirmed the news of the former Chelsea player on its website on Tuesday, December 7th, 2021. According to reports from the club, Zouma sustained an hamstring tendon injury.

The date of his return has not yet been confirmed by the club.

West Ham can cconfirm that Kurt Zouma sustained a hamstring tendon injury during Saturday's Premier League victory against Chelsea. A scan on Monday revealed the damage and the 27-year-old French international defender has already started his recovery programmee at Rush Green under the supervision of the medical team.

The injury to Zouma is a big blow to the West London team having lost Angelo Ogbonna for the rest of the season. Been Johnson will also be out for some time after the player picked up a hamstring injury against Chelsea.
