West Ham United have completed the signing of Kelvin Phillips on a loan deal until the end of the 2023/24 football season.

West Ham confirmed the signing of the England international on its official website on Friday, January 26, 2024. Kalvin Phillips' decision to join the Hammers was due to lack of game time since he joined Manchester City from Leeds United.

He said,

"I am really pleased to be here, there’s always been a lot of speculation about me moving to West Ham, so I’m really excited to get going now. There’s so much to look forward to in the second half of the season for the Club and I can’t wait to be part of it. There’s an unbelievable group here and if I can come in and add the quality that I know I’m capable of, I’m sure we can give the West Ham fans plenty to be excited about between now and the end of the season."

The arrival of the midfielder will be a good addition to the Hammers who are looking to finish in a European position and also push for the possibility of winning the UEFA Europa League. He could make his debut on Thursday, February 1, 2025, Premier League fixture with AFC Bournemouth at London Stadium.
