West Ham United have reportedly reached an agreement to complete the club's first signing of the June 2024 transfer window.

According to recent reports, West Ham United is very close to finalizing their first signing of the June 2024 transfer window. It has been announced that the Hammers are in talks to acquire Wolves captain Max Kilman for £40 million. The new manager of West Ham United, Julen Lopetegui, is keen on reuniting with the defender.

The two clubs completed the deal after West Ham improved their offer for Kilman. Last month, Mail Sport reported that West Ham was interested in the Wolves defender and mentioned that their initial £25 million bid was turned down. However, West Ham increased their offer by £15 million and reached an agreement with Wolves for the 27-year-old.

Kilman will be reuniting with his former boss Julen Lopetegui, who coached Wolves for nine months and appointed Kilman as the team's captain.

During his time at Wolves, the English international played 151 games across all competitions. He signed a one-year deal last summer amidst interest from clubs like Napoli. Newcastle also expressed interest in Kilman, but West Ham were more determined to secure his services.
