Victor Osimhen addresses transfer rumours: Will he stay or go?

Victor Osimhen has set his sights on clearing the air regarding transfer rumours and speculations surrounding his future, amidst interest from top clubs like Chelsea, Man United, and Arsenal.

Following an impressive 2024/2025 campaign in the Turkish Super Lig for Galatasaray following a turrid 2024 summer transfer window, Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen is back in the headlines once again with various clubs such as Man United, Arsenal, Chelsea and others showing interest to sign him with a few months left to the Summer 2025 transfer window.

With numerous speculations flying around about his future at the end of the 2024/2025 club football season, Victor Osimhen has directly addressed questions about the possibility of him remaining at Galatasaray for another season or if he is considering the option of playing for other clubs.

The Nigerian forward and former African Player of the Year award winner revealed that he is just living and enjoying football at the moment with no decision about his future being guaranteed or made by him so far.

He made this statement in a post-match interview after the explosive Galatasaray vs Fenerbache Turkish Super Lig fixture. He stated, "To be honest I don’t know. You know the last few months, nobody ever thought I would come here, I never believed I would come to Galatasaray despite how big they are. I live for the moment. I don’t know what will happen in the summer, but I want everybody to understand that I really love this club. I love the fans, I love the President, I love everyone associated with the club. It’s really a big deal to be here and I’m really enjoying my time here."

With Victor Osimhen slowly becoming a cult hero at Galatasaray, fans of the Super Lig table toppers have all expressed their desire to have him remain at the club, indicating their desire to see him complete a permanent transfer to the club in the Summer.
