Victor Osimhen clears the air on Tiktok video posted by Napoli

Super Eagles and Napoli forward Victor Osimhen has cleared the air concerning his relationship with the Serie A champions.

The Nigerian international was speaking at the CAF awards ceremony, which was held in Marrakesh, Morocco, on Monday, December 11, 2023. Victor Osimhen was asked about his relationship with Napoli at a press conference after he was named the winner of the CAF Men's Player of the Year.

He said the TikTok video posted was a stupid mistake by the individual, and the club has dealt with the situation. According to him, there is no problem between himself and the club.

"It was a stupid mistake by an individual and I wasn’t happy about it, but ADL, his son Eduardo and a lot of them stood with me and they made sure the individual was really dealt with, which for me is the most important thing. I spoke with the person in charge of it and he was remorseful and then we sorted out everything and I am happy with them.”

However, Osimhen's future at Napoli has not been sorted out, as there are interests from some of the top clubs in the Premier League and also Saudi Arabia
