Victor Osimhen breaks silence on his future at Napoli

Super Eagles and Napoli forward player, Victor Osimhen has given a green light about his future at the Serie A club before the 2023 summer transfer window closes.

The Nigerian responded to a question which he was asked after Napoli's opening Serie A game against Frosinone. According to Victor Osimhen, discussions are still ongoing between himself and the club but as it stands, he is still a Napoli player.

The Serie A last season top scorer had been linked with a move away from Naples this summer, with a Saudi Arabian club have submitted a bid of €200 million for the player.

"The president is the boss, we are still negotiating, we’ll see at the end of the transfer window. For now, I am a Napoli player which is the most important thing. I will give my heart and soul to this team as I’ve always done in the past. We’ll see what happens".

There have been reports that since the transfer window opened Osimhen's agent has been in for a series of meetings with representatives from Napoli and both parties are close to reaching an agreement.
