Update on Robert Lewandowski's Transfer from Bayern Munich to Barcelona

Bayern Munich's forward player, Robert Lewandowski has spoken about his future at the Bundesliga club.

The Polish striker was speaking in an interview where he confirmed his departure from Bayern Munich. However, he promised the supporters of the club, a proper goodbye for the love and support they showed him in the last eight years.

These 8 years were special and I won't forget that. I had a great time in Munich. I will come back to say goodbye to all employees properly.

The CEO of Bayern Munich, Oliver Kahn also confirmed that the Bundesliga club have reached an agreement with Barcelona for the 34-year old player.

We have reached an agreement with Barcelona for Robert Lewandowski. It’s done. however, on a verbal agreement, the contract is still pending.

Bayern's midfielder, Serge Gnarby has agreed on a contract extension with the club which will keep him with the Bundesliga champions until 2026.
