Club football governing body in Europe, UEFA, has announced an influential figure as the young player of the 2021/22 Champions League season following his immense contribution to his team's run in the Champions League.

Brazilian wunderkind Vinicius Jr. was announced as the UEFA Young Player of the season as he had heavily contributed to Real Madrid's champions league victory.

He had been acknowledged for his impressive contribution to the team by the UEFA Technical Observer panel. The 21-year-old played a total of 13 games for Real Madrid, scored a total of 4 goals, including the winning goal in the finals, and made 6 assists.
