#UCL: Napoli vs Barcelona ( 2023/24)

The UEFA Champions League round of 16 match between Napoli and Barcelona was headlined by the tale of two coaches who was sacked and the other who resigned from his job.

Ahead of Napoli's Champions League against Barcelona, the Serie A club parted ways with manager Walter Mazzarri. Francesco Calzona was appointed as a replacement to help make something from their current season.

On the other hand, Barcelona's head coach, Xavi Hernandez announced earlier in the season that he would leave the Catalonia giants at the end of the season. However, he would want to finish the season on a high by leading the club to winning the Champions League.

The first half ended goalless with both sides failing to create a clear-cut chance as the defence of both sides were on the top of the game stopping any attack that came their way.

The second half was different to the first as Robert Lewandowski and Victor Osimhen showed why they are two of the best forward players in the world. The Polish striker scored the opening goal of the game after which the Nigerian scored the equalising goal with a few minutes to the end of the game.
