UCL: Lamine Yamal reacts to Barcelona's defeat against Inter Milan

The dream of Lamine Yamal lifting the UEFA Champions League this season was squashed by Inter Milan in the semi-final of the competition.
Lamine Yamal expressed his disappointment after his side were knocked out of the competition in what has been tagged by football fans around the world as one of the best games ever seen in the Champions League. According to him, it was a disappointing match but he believes that they will be back to compete next season.
Yamal had 14 successful take-ons on Tuesday, third most in a Champions League knockout stage game in the last 15 seasons. The only player who had more in that period was Neymar in 2017 and 2020.
"We gave it our all, this year it couldn’t be, but we’ll be back, have no doubt about it. Culers, we won’t stop until we put this club where it belongs: at the very top. I will keep my promise and bring it to Barcelona; we won’t stop until we achieve it. But Sunday is another final, and we all need to be together. Visca el Barç."
Barcelona fans will hope they can salvage the season by winning the Spanish La Liga in addition to the Copa del Rey trophy they previously won at the expense of Real Madrid.
