Chelsea Set New UEFA Champions League Record

Chelsea Football Club wrote their name in the history books of the UEFA Champions League.

The Blues became the first English team to win five consecutive home matches without concerning a goal in the history of the European Cup or the Champions League. Chelsea achieved this feat following victory against Lille at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday, February 22nd, 2022.

The games which were played to achieve this feat includes win against Real Madrid in the semifinal of the UEFA Champions League last season. The Blues win all their home three group games against Juventus, Zenith, Malmo, Lille.

Chelsea won the first leg 2-0 against Lille and will hope for better performance in two week time in France.
