The report coming from Anfield is that Trent-Alexander Arnold and Joe Matip will not be available for the club. Both players picked up a knock in their last league game against Arsenal at the Emirates on Sunday, October 9th, 2022.

Liverpool will also be without its in-form midfielder, Luis Diaz for at least eight to ten weeks after picking up an injury in the game against the Gunners. This means he will not return until after the FIFA World Cup that will be hosted in Qatar.

However, there is good news for supporters of the club, as Andy Robertson is expected to return for the Reds in the Champions League game against Rangers. Ibrahima Konate, who has yet to start a game this season, is set to replace Matip at centre-back for Wednesday’s Champions League clash with Rangers at Ibrox.
