#Transfer: Chelsea FC Star Player Makes A Shocking Move To Tottenham Hotspur
Chelsea FC has officially confirmed the transfer and move of a star player to a direct rival of the club, Tottenham Hotspur.
In a move that many didn't see coming, Chelsea FC, in an official statement, confirmed the departure of one of its star players in a transfer to Tottenham Hotspur. In the official statement, the blues confirmed that Bethany England, who is also an England international who was part of the record breaking side, would be leaving the club after spending over seven years with the team.
The star player, who made over 160 appearances for the blues at Kings Meadow and scored 74 goals in those appearances, would be a notable figure that would be missed by head coach Emma Hayes and her former teammates as well.
The official statement from Chelsea read:
After seven years of service to the club, Chelsea Women can today confirm the departure of forward Bethany England to Tottenham Hotspur.
