Tottenham Hotspur first-choice goalkeeper Hugo Lloris has confirmed his intention to leave White Hart Lane this season.

The French International made this announcement in an interview with a French media outlet, Nice-Martin. According to him, he has gotten to a point in his career where he desires something else.

We have reached an important moment, whether it be for the club or me. It’s the end of an era. I have a desire for something else. I will carefully study what is possible. However, I haven’t forgotten that I have a year left on my contract at Tottenham, and in football, it’s always hard to predict what will happen.

The 36-year-old Spurs captain joined the North London club in 2012 and recently signed a new two-year last year until the summer of 2024. Lloris alongside every other player have struggled in the just-concluded season across all competition.
