#Tokyo2020: Simone Biles Pulls Out of Olympic Games!

Simone Biles has pulled out of the finals of the gymnastic competition at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. She left the competition after she failed to land a vault in her performance.

The stadium commentator announced this withdrawal on the 27th of July 2021 during the game. The commentator announced that the USA Gymnastics spokeswoman, Carol Fabrizio has confirmed that Biles won't be partaking in the remaining event. Voicing her statement, he said;

Simone has withdrawn from the team's competition because of medical issues. She will be accessed daily for medical clearance for future competitions.

Her departure from the competition means the USA team will have to rely on their remaining three gymnasts, Grace McCallcum, Jordan Chiles, and Sunisa Lee.

The injury to Biles served as a major blow in the Artistic Gymnastics for the United States of America as they finished with the Silver medal behind the Russian Olympic Committee who finished with the Gold medal. Great Britain finished with the Bronze Medal.
