The co-owner of Chelsea Football Club, Todd Boehly has pleaded to the supporters of the club to be patient as they continue to build their current project.

The American business owner was speaking in an interview with Forbes where he was asked about the current situation at the club following a series of bad results. According to him, the project and the players need to be given time to grow.

He said,

"We just need to let the process develop and give our squad the time to go from being unbelievable individual players with great skills to fold into a team. We just have to continue to stay the course."

He also spoke about the project at the club and what the fans should expect from them going forward.

"The good news is people care so much. And the bad news is people care so much. That leads to times when they’re frustrated with the team and the owners. I get that, but we just have to continue to stay the course."

Chelsea has been a shadow of what it used to be since the arrival of the new owners in 2022 having failed to qualify for the UEFA Champions League in two consecutive seasons. However, the supporters of the club will hope this new process yields good results sooner than expected.
