Tobi Amusan has reacted to the latest news confirming that she has been given a pass to participate at the World Championship in Budapest.

The Athletics Integrity Unit confirmed that Nigeria has been cleared of all the allegations that they accused her of. According to the body, they were not impressed by the decision of the disciplinary tribunal, but they will have to review the judgement before going to the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS).

Tobi Amusan released a statement on her official Instagram account, expressing her excitement about the latest development. She is also looking forward to defending her title at the World Championship.

The 26-year-old was previously charged with three whereabouts failures, which constitutes an anti-doping rule violation for missing three out-of-competition tests within a 12-month period.

This decision means that Amusan will have the opportunity to defend the title at the African Championships, African Games, Commonwealth Games, and Diamond League.
