Thomas Tuchel Gives Update on the Future of Kepa Arrizabalaga

The manager of Chelsea Football Club, Thomas Tuchel, has spoken about the future of Kepa Arrizabalaga at the London club.

The Blues second choice goalkeeper was linked away from the club during the summer transfer window but he could not find a club for himself. According to Tuchel, Kepa wanted to leave but he did not like the options that were available to him.

He checked his options in summer which we were aware of. They were not satisfying for him or for us, so he stayed. I am very happy about that. I was always very clear with Kepa that I wanted him to stay.

Kepa might be on his way back into the first team of Chelsea following the poor form of Edouard Mendy in the opening games of the season in the Premier League.
