Chelsea head coach Thomas Tuchel has given fresh and new updates on the reported interest of the club in Barcelona's Aubameyang and Leicester City's Wesley Fofana.

The head coach who had a press conference ahead of Chelsea's fixture against Tottenham revealed that he enjoyed working with Aubameyang in the past as he never had any issues with the Gabonese star.

Although Chelsea have not made an official bid for the former Arsenal man, Tuchel's words at the press conference echoed the interest Chelsea have in signing the forward and bringing him to the bridge.

“I enjoyed working with him a lot, it was a pleasure. I’ve never had any issue.

Some players stay your players, as you are very close. Auba is one of them players. Even when we played Arsenal, straight away it was a close bond”.

Tuchel however refused to comment on the transfer speculations of Wesley Fofana as it is viewed as a sensitive topic or situation at the moment as both club sides have remained adamant on their stance.

Thomas Tuchel indicated and reconfirmed that the blues are still looking for a center back:

“I’m sorry but I will not comment. No matter how good your question will be… I will not comment”.
