Chelsea's defender, Thiago Silva has given an update about his future at the Stamford Bridge club.

The Brazilian was speaking at a press conference ahead of Chelsea's crucial UEFA Champions League game against AC Milan. According to the centre-back, when the time is right he will speak about his future at the club.

The time will come to talk, it could be time before/after the World Cup. I need to decide my contract for my family arrangements, it’s not easy. We will see what will happen.

The manager of Chelsea, Graham Potter also spoke about the contract extension of the player at the same press conference.

It is up to Thiago, he will decide. All I can do is help him enjoy his football here. The rest is for him and the club to think about.

Silva has been a fantastic player since he joined the blues in the summer of 2020 from Paris Saint-Germain. He will be out of contract at the end of this season.
