The body governing football in the world, FIFA, has announced the best coach in the world for the year 2023.

Manchester City's manager, Pep Guardiola, was named the winner of the award after he led the Cityzens to an impressive treble-winning season ( FA Cup, Premier League, and UEFA Champions League). The Spanish international was crowned the winner at the award ceremony, which was held on Monday, January 15, 2024, in London.

Guardiola beat the manager of Inter Milan, Simeone Inzaghi, and former Napoli manager Luciano Spalletti to win the award. The award was voted for by national team coaches and captains as well as expert journalists and supporters across the world.

The voting procedure was supervised by independent observers, and results will be published in full on FIFA's website following the awards ceremony.
