Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag has spoken for the first time about Jadon Sancho's return to the club following his expulsion from the team last season.

Jadon Sancho has returned to training after resolving his dispute with Erik Ten Hag. There were reports that the midfielder would leave the club in the summer transfer window following his loan spell at Borussia Dortmund last season.

The 24-year-old was a key part of the Dortmund's success last season which saw them reach the final of the UEFA Champions League, that they lost 2-1 to Real Madrid.

During an interview at Manchester United's pre-season, Ten Hag addressed the conflict with Sancho, stating,

"As we said, we draw the line. Manchester United need good players and Jadon is a good player. We have drawn that line and we move on."

Sancho was removed from the first team after accusing Ten Hag of lying about the reason for his absence from the matchday squad against Arsenal. Sancho claimed he had been left out due to poor performances in training, but Ten Hag refuted this, leading to Sancho training alone after he refused to apologize.
