Super Falcons retain position in latest FIFA ranking

The Super Falcons of Nigeria retained their spot as the best team on the continent of Africa in the latest ranking that was released by the world governing body, FIFA.

FIFA released the list on its official website on Friday, June 14, 2024, the Super Falcons were number one in Africa ahead of other powerhouses like Ghana, South Africa, and Cameroon in the latest ranking.

The Super Falcons are ranked 36th in the world, 15 places above second placed team on the continent, South Africa, who occupy the 51st position. Morocco, Zambia and Ghana complete the top five teams in Africa.
