Super Falcons beat Australia in FIFA Women's World Cup( Watch Highlights)

The Super Falcons of Nigeria took a giant step in their qualification to the next round of the FIFA Women's World Cup ongoing in Australia and New Zealand.

Australia scored the opening goal of the game in the stoppage time of the first half through the boots of Van Egmood. However, the Super Falcons responded swiftly just four minutes later when Uchenna Kanu scored the equaliser.

The African giants turned the game around in the second half with two goals from Osinachi Ohale and Asisat Oshoala, the pair made the scoreline 3-1. Australia reduced the two-goal deficit in the stoppage time of the game from Kennedy.

It's all to play for with Nigeria, Canada and Australia all able to qualify for the knockout stages. The co-hosts will need a win against Canada if they are to guarantee their spot in the next round while Nigeria needs a point against Ireland.
