Son Pens New Four-Year Contract With Tottenham
South Korean forward Son Heung-min has agreed fresh terms with Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur to continue with them for another four years.
Son, who had a very impressive campaign in the English top flight last season, has signed a new contract, the Premier League club announced.
Tottenham confirmed the news today on the 23rd of July 2021 via their twitter account. They wrote:
We are delighted to announce that Heun-Min Son has signed a new four-year contract with the Club which will run till 2025
Son has scored 107 goals and provided 64 assists in 280 appearances in all competitions since joining Spurs from Bayer Leverkusen in August 2015.
Among them were the first ever Premier League and Champions League goals at the club’s new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and a brilliant individual effort against Burnley in December 2019 – in which he ran from his own half through the entire Clarets defence to slot away – which won the Puskas Award and Premier League Goal of the Season.
