Sir Jim Ratcliffe speaks on Man United possibly signing Kylian Mbappe

The wish of every football fan around the world is to have Kylian Mbappe hold their club jersey before the start of the 2024/25 football season.

One club that has been ruled out is Manchester United, this was confirmed by the new minority shareholder, Sir Jim Ratcliffe confirmed in an interview that it makes no sense to spend so much money on Mbappe when the club can get someone with a bright future like that of the winger.

He said,

"Mbappé to Man United? I’d try to find the next Mbappé rather than spend a fortune trying to buy success. It is not that clever to sign Mbappé now, it’s more challenging to find the next Mbappé, next Bellingham or next Roy Keane."

The future of the French international has been unclear for the past couple of months after he told the board at Paris Saint-Germain that he would not sign a new contract. There are reports that he had agreed to join Real Madrid at the end of this season but there is no hint from all the parties involved.
