The former manager of Manchester United, Sir Alex Ferguson has arrived at the Carrington training ground of the Red Devils.
Mirror Football confirmed the story on its official website on Tuesday, July 26th, 2022. According to the reports, the former United boss drove in just minutes after Cristiano Ronaldo arrived at the training ground.
The Portuguese is expected to meet with the manager of the club, Erik Ten Hag but there is no clear indication if the Welsh man will be part of the meeting. Sir Alex was a key figure in the return of Ronaldo to Manchester United during the last transfer window as he was reportedly on his way to Manchester City.
Ronaldo has not participated in the training sessions of the club since Ten Hag took over, citing family issues as his reason for not going to the club's pre-season training and matches. However, the Dutchman has always made it known that Ronaldo is a key part of his team going into the new season.
