Morocco moved to the number 11 in the world, they came into the World Cup ranked 22nd. The performance of the North Africans at the Qatar 2022 was the reason why they moved up the ladder.

Morocco became the first African nation to reach the Semi-final of the World Cup following their victory over Portugal in the Quater-final.

Brazil is the number one nation in the World, while France, Argentina, Belgium, and England occupy the two to fifth place respectively.
