The race was a fantastic contest between both Ferrari and the Red Bull but it seems like this season's Formula 1 will give fans a competition more than what Lewis Hamilton and Verstappen gave last season. Leclerc emerged as driver of the day at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix

The Saudi Arabian Grand Prix was highlighted by Mercedes' driver, Lewis Hamilton's inability to qualify out of the first qualifying series for the first time since 2017. There was a bit of fear that the race will not happen following the bombing in Jeddah.

Carlos Sainz finished in third place, Sergio Perez finished in fourth place while George Russel finished in fifth place. Mercedes' Hamiton finished in 10th place.
